WHO I THINK WILL GET A NOMINATION:
- Aaron Paul (Breaking bad)
- Corey Stoll (House of Cards)
- Dan Stevens (Downton Abbey)
- Jonathan Banks (Breaking Bad)
- Mandy Patinkin (Homeland)
- Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones)
COLD, HARD LOCKS: Aaron Paul, Peter Dinklage
STRONG EDUCATED GUESSES: Corey Stoll, Dan Stevens, Jonathan Banks
SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE LAST YEAR WHICH SORT OF HURTS HIS CHANCES THIS YEAR, BUT BECAUSE HE'S AWESOME AND HOMELAND WAS HUGE LAST YEAR, THE EMMYS WILL RECTIFY THEIR MISTAKE: Mandy Pantinkin
WHAT I'M PROBABLY WRONG ABOUT: Not having two Downton Abbey co-stars here
You'll notice a theme in these posts in that I'm underrating Dowton Abbey. Not only is the show really not THAT good, but the quality and quantity of other shows has just gotten better, Last year, both Brendan Coyle and Jim Carter from the show earned nominations, and this year, I'm predicting neither get a nomination. While Carter isn't eligible (the show itself didn't submit him in this category), it's probably a mistake to say that Coyle doesn't get re-nominated. Truthfully, Coyle probably takes Mandy Patinkin's spot, especially considering Patinkin didn't have much to do, or have a ruler in the peanut butter moment during Season 2 of Homeland.

WHO I THINK THE NOMINEES SHOULD BE:
- Bobby Cannavale (Boardwalk Empire)
- Corey Stoll (House of Cards)
- Jonathan Banks (Breaking Bad)
- Noah Emmerich (The Americans)
- Rick Hoffman (Suits)
- Rick Hoffman (Suits)
- Walton Goggins (Justified)
OBVIOUS "SNUB": Noah Emmerich
Truthfully, Bobby Cannavale was an amazing villain on Boardwalk Empire last year and deserves WAY more praise and buzz than he's getting, but the Emmys never really seemed THAT into the Jersey drama. I think the Emmys really, really like The Americans (because the critics seem to), but being the 7th or 8th best show in the world of Emmy voters will hurt Emmerich's chances. While I personally think he did the best acting job out of anyone in the cast, I think this year will be Matthew Rhys' year.
Who do you think deserves to win Best Supporting Actor (Drama) at the 2013 Primetime Emmys?
